Taphandles Volunteer Committee Tee

A few times a year, the Taphandles volunteer committee organized outings to support local causes around the Seattle area, giving employees a chance to step away from their desks and give back to the community during the work day. After running the program for a few years, we wanted a shirt employees could wear to these events, something that tied back to the Taphandles brand while standing on its own as a volunteer identity.

The design reworked our brewery-style badge mark into a volunteer emblem, paired with a leaf icon to signal the environmental and community focus of the work. Set on a deep forest green, the palette leaned into that outdoor, hands-in-the-dirt feel, with a simple front chest hit and a bolder back graphic built to call out the specific crew, like Clean Up Crew, for a given event. Shown here are a few of my artwork explorations alongside the final design.
